Supreme Council Nigerian Books of Record Research Centre has charged Nigerians to stop celebrating wrong people but to locate people with credible records and celebrate them.

Director-General of the Centre, Prof. David David, said it would usher in uprightness in the country and encourage people to do the right things. David stated this, yesterday, in Port Harcourt, when the Centre inducted the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries , Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, into the Nigerian Books of Records Hall of Fame and also decorated him with Fellowship Award.

Last year, the International Human Rights Commission gave the cleric a global award for his social services, which include rehabilitation of street girls, ex-cultists, and the underprivileged, among others. He said: “We decide to go on the good sides of Nigerians, the positive sides of the contributions of Nigerians. We discovered that Nigerians are very good at celebrating the wrong people. So, we go after people, who have credible records and to tell the world that there are Nigerians with credible records to celebrate despite the global poor image

“When they see records of Nigerians, who have done well, they know that there is hope for them as young people.”
