The Nation Newspaper CBN assures of sufficient cash supply

In a statement, CBN Director, Corporate Communications, Isa AbdulMumin said denied reports on alleged scarcity of cash at banks, automated teller machines , Points of Sale and among Bureaux de Change in some major cities across the country.

AbdulMumin advised members of the public to guard against panic withdrawals as there is sufficient stock to facilitate economic activities. The Minister of Finance and Coordinating minister for the Economy, Wale Edun, stated last month that the country anticipates receiving $10 billion in inflows in the upcoming weeks.
