The NPFL champions contingent left the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, via Cote d’Ivoire Air Airline on Friday morning . The Port Harcourt club will lock horns with ASEC Mimosa at the Municipal Stadium in Yamoussoukro on Sunday.Rivers United top the group on goal difference and need just a point to cement their place at the summit.
Daring Club Motema Pembe of Congo and CSMD Diable Noirs of Angola will face each other in the group’s other game.

Nigerian Crude Oil Thief Jailed Two Years In Rivers | Sahara ReportersA Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, in Rivers State has convicted and sentenced an oil thief, Alu Isaac, to two years in prison. The judgement was delivered by Justice P. I. Ajoku on Wednesday. The judge ruled that Alu Isaac was found guilty of unlawfully dealing in petroleum products without the requisite licence.
