Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede is optimistic about qualifying for the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The Sky Blue Stars will face Ghanian champions Medeama SC in the preliminary round first leg clash on Sunday.Ogunmodede believes that a positive result in this tie is crucial for the progress of his team. “We have prepared well and rested well for the start of the CAF Champions League qualifying rounds,” he told the club’s media.
“We are hopeful of progressing to the group stage of the competition at the expense of our opponent. A favourable result in Ghana will put us in a very good position to achieve our goals.”
