Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID) has begun the distribution of food items, as palliatives to Kano residents to alleviate their hardship caused by the pandemic.
Coalition Against COVID-19 has begun the distribution of food items, as palliatives to Kano residents to alleviate their hardship caused by the pandemic.The items included 224,100 cartons of Indomie noodles, 84,116 cartons of pasta, 27,734 cartons of macaroni and 112,055 units of flour.
Others are: 112,382 packets of 5kg sugar, 112,055 of 10kg bags of rice and 112,060 packets of 5kg of salt.Kano State Deputy Governor Nasiru Gawuna represented Governor Abdullahi Ganduje at the event yesterday at the warehouse of Kumbotso Local Government Area of the state.He said the Non-Governmental Organisations have targeted 1.67 million vulnerable households across the country, to be supplied with food items, aimed at cushioning the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown.
