The General Superintendent and Supreme Head of the Sacred Cherubim and Seraphim Church , His Most Eminence, Dr. Solomon A. Alao, has urged all Nigerians who registered for the forthcoming general polls to get their Permanent Voter Cards and vote on election day. The cleric said this at a media briefing held at El-Bethel Shiloh Cathedral, one of its branches in Agege, Lagos, to kick-start the yearly general conference of the church.
According to Alao, the nation is nearing the precipice and the people need to bring in the right leader that will save the country from looming dangers. He said: “Unless we get it right and get the right leaders, Nigeria may go the ways of the Soviet Union. It is necessary to put in place the Electoral Offences Tribunal Act to check electoral malpractices and punish anyone caught.
