Buhari to effect Nigerian governors’ lockdown decision Monday
On Sunday, a Chief Press Secretary to a state governor confirmed this to DAILY POST.
“The two weeks’ lockdown will be announced by Mr. President. It’s a done deal. However, he will list exemptions and give Nigerians other important information.”Their position was contained in a letter addressed to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation/Chairman, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha.
Others are internal free movement but restrictions on large gatherings and assemblies, overnight curfews, flights ban and compulsory use of face masks/coverings in public.But the figure could be higher considering the situation in Kano.
