President Muhammadu Buhari is set to commission the second Niger Bridge having completed it within the lifespan of his eight years administration.
Beyond the bridge, Buhari will also cut tapes to three Federal Secretariats and a road project, a move believed to enable him finish strong as president. The presidency underscored the input of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing which aided in the successful completion of the projects. It is situated on a 5.106 hectares of land. The project was first awarded on December 9, 2011, but was practically completed and taken over by the Ministry of Works and Housing on July 14, 2022.
