Justice Ariwoola Olukayode, on Wednesday took the judicial oath of office as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria. The brief swearing ceremony conducted by President Muhammadu Buhari took place at the Council Chambers in Abuja before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting. Present at the swearing in of the substantive CJN include the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, ministers, other justices of the Supreme Court, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, amongst others.
