The Emir of Daura, Katsina State, Alhaji Umar Faruk, has appointed Alhaji Musa Haro as the district head of the newly created Dumurkol district
Dumurkol, which is the ancestral village of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , was upgraded to a district last week by the state House of Assembly.
A letter dated July 30, 2021, from the Daura Emirate Council, and addressed to Haro, said his official title would be Dan Madamin Daura. The letter read in part, “I am directed by his Royal Highness, Alhaji Umar Faruk Umar, CON, Emir of Daura, to inform you that your appointment as the district head of newly created Dumurkol District has been approved with effect from August 1, 2021.
