A retinue of aides and members of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari cabinet have arrived the election tribunal as they await the judgement on People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar petition against his loss at the election.

Buhari’s chief of staff Abba Kyari, All Progressives Congress’s national chairman Adams Oshiomhole and ministers including Babatunde Fashola, Chris Ngige and Festus Keyamo were seen at the tribunal on Wednesday morning. Although security has been beefed up at the court and its environment, our correspondents also report a calm atmosphere amongst loyalists of both People’s Democratic Party and the APC.
