Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Monday, unleashed a torre
nt of abuse and threats on PUNCH’s State House Correspondent, Mr John Ameh.
“Did you say that Mr President did not approve the statement? Let me tell you, if you want to last here, you had better be careful!”Our correspondent gathered that Adesina had also threatened to bar members of the State House Press Corps from ‘open coverage’ of the President’s events. Adesina had issued a statement on Saturday, attacking this newspaper and its journalists. The insult-laden statement was deemed unsuitable for publication by the newspaper’s editors and, therefore, ignored.
