“He has repositioned the directorate through remarkable expansion of the portfolio and marked improvement of the risk assets quality,” the statement reads.following the retirement of Waheed Olagunju from the bank. According to the bank, Omar will be responsible for leading Afreximbank’s strategy on information technology in support of the BoI’s mandate and medium-term strategy.This includes leading a comprehensive strategy to build, develop and standardise technology solutions for the bank.
