Buhari nominates Abia’s Chukwuka as INEC Commissioner
In an executive communication which was read by the Senate President, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan on Tuesday at the plenary, Buhari cited relevant laws to support the choice of the Abia nominee.
Part of the letter reads: “I am delighted to forward the name of Mr. Chukwuemeka Chukwuka as INEC Commissioner nominee representing Anambra State.Senate President, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan referred the letter to the Senate Committee on INEC to revert in two weeks time.
