[BREAKING] Xenophobia: Buhari, Gbajabiamila hold meeting FridayThoughts XenophobiaInSouthAfrica
President Muhammadu Buhari and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Femi Gbajabiamila, are meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The agenda of the closed-door meeting is believed to be in connection with the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.Recall that the National Assembly is still on annual recess, but members began mounting pressure on the leadership to reconvene the legislature soon after the xenophobic attacks started.Findings also indicated that the numbers one and four citizens might touch on the 2020 budget.
The President, according to Ministry of Finance and Budget Planning officials, is expected to lay the estimates before the National Assembly later this month.
