Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Nigerian lawmaker, who is the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, has stepped down from the investigation.The panel was created to interrogate Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and acting Managing Director of the NDDC, Daniel Pondei, today.
Recall that Pondei had on Thursday questioned the credibility of the House Committee, saying Tunji-Ojo was corrupt and had benefited from award of contracts in the commission.
