reports. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known in its ‘COVID-19 Situation Report 80’ on Tuesday.

According to the report, seven other patients died in Bauchi, Federal Capital Territory, Borno, and Katsina of COVID-19.

“Nine deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in six states – Bauchi , FCT , Lagos , Borno , Katsina , and Ogun ,” part of the report read. The NCDC said, “Two hundred and sixteen confirmed cases were reported in the last 24 hours in 15 states – Lagos , Katsina , Oyo , Kano , Edo , Zamfara , Borno , Gombe , Ogun , Bauchi , Kwara , FCT , Enugu , Kaduna and Rivers .
