BREAKING: Rivers schools reopen Wednesday
The Rivers State Government has directed the opening of secondary schools across the state for exit classes from Wednesday.
Commissioner for Education, Prof. Kaniye Ebuka, in a statement on Tuesday evening said Governor Nyesom Wike approved the development to allow the students write their examinations. Ebeku said all responsible school officials should ensure maintenance of all extant COVID-19 protocols.He said: “Following satisfactory preparation for the re-opening of schools in Rivers State, the State Governor His Excellency Governor Nyesom Wike, has approved the re-opening of secondary schools in the state for the purpose of allowing candidates in exit classes only to return to school and revise with their teachers and write their exit examinations.
