A protest has broken out in Otukpo, Benue State, after a suspected kidnapper was rescued by the police from an angry mob.According to reports, the youths and local vigilante in Oglewu captured the man after he confessed to being a kidnapper around Okwungaga Hill. The suspect then agreed to take the youths to his hideout.
However, while the mob was still interrogating the suspect, the police arrived and rescued him. This angered youths who wasted no time in starting a protest, demanding that the suspect be released to them by the police
