BREAKING: Police refund N810,000 allegedly extorted from victim in Delta to CDHR

Policemen in Abraka, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State, have refunded the sum of eight hundred and ten thousand naira (N810,000.00)

The Committee for the Defense of Human Rights, CDHR, disclosed to DAILY POST on Sunday.

He explained that the ten thousand naira was for POS charges used in transferring the money from the victim’s account.He said the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, CSP Fabian, and his men in Abraka, Ethiope-East Local Government Area, are deeply involved in ‘heavy extortion” against Nigerian citizens. He said CDHR intervened in the matter and demanded the refund of the said sum since the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Fabian, could not explain the alteration.
