reports that the Islamic group launched an attack on some personnel of the Nigeria Police Force at Wuse Junction by traffic light on Sunday. A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer SP Josephine Adeh confirmed the incident. She said the group attacked the Police checkpoint 'wielding machetes, improvised explosive devices , and knives' leading to the death of some officers. The PPRO said several arrests have already been made in connection with the killings.
