Okezie Ikpeazu, the incumbent Governor of Abia State, has been reelected for a second term in office, having polled a total of 261,127 votes.
He defeated his two main challengers, Uchechukwu Ogah of the All Progressives Congress and Alex Oti of the All Progressives Grand Alliance . Ikpeazu, who contested under the flag of Peoples Democratic Party , won in 11 of the 17 Local Government Areas in the state.See result breakdown below:
