Two fresh cases of Coronavirus were on Wednesday confirmed by the Ondo State Government.
This is coming barely 24 hours after the state discharged five COVID-19 patients after they recovered from the disease. Commissioner for Health in the State, Dr Wahab Adegbenro, who confirmed the fresh cases during an interview with SaharaReporters, said the blood samples of the two patients earlier collected for test came back positive.
He explained that the patients, who have now been moved to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Akure, came into the state from Lagos and Sokoto states. SaharaReporters gathered that the state now has six active cases of Coronavirus at the Infectious Disease Hospital.
