The latest case is an employee member of the APM Terminals, Apapa.
According to a statement from the concessionaire, the worker last visited the port on April 16 but his COVID-19 status was confirmed on April 27.
The statement signed by the General Manager, External Relations, APMT, Daniel Odibe, disclosed that the employee developed malaria symptoms and was referred to a hospital where he was initially treated before he was referred to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control for further test.“The case is currently being handled by NCDC while we continue with our precautionary and response plans in strict adherence to the COVID19 protocol.
