The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has stated that the elections scheduled to hold in Imo state will be very free and fair.
Speaking on Friday, the Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu stated that Commission is not in support of any candidate and that the next Governor of Imo state solely lies in the hands of the People. In his words; “Let me repeat myself, INEC is not a Political Party. We do not have a candidate in the November 11 #ImoDecides2023 election.”
“The responsibility of who becomes the next Governor of Imo State is entirely in the hands of the Voters in Imo State.
