Safiu, the step brother of Abdulkarim Asuku, the Chief of Staff to Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello, in Kogi State has been allegedly abducted by gunmen working for the governor. SaharaReporters gathered that Safiu was abducted on Monday by the governor’s hit-men led by a Nigerian Navy officer identified only as Charles. The victim was said to have recently dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress and joined the Peoples Democratic Party.
