As part of efforts to ensure the smooth conduct of the Edo State Gubernatorial election slated for September 21, 2024, the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps , Shehu Mohammed, has ordered the strategic deployment of FRSC personnel across the state.
In a statement released by the FRSC headquarters, the Corps Marshal instructed operatives to collaborate closely with other security agencies to ensure compliance with the movement restrictions. The Corps Marshal further mandated the personnel to prioritize road safety by clearing any obstructions, conducting rescue operations in case of emergencies, and maintaining orderliness around polling units.
