The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has reserved judgment in the appeal filed by Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf challenging the nullification of his election by the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal.
The tribunal’s decision, delivered on September 20, invalidated Yusuf’s victory, citing irregularities in 165,663 votes, which were deemed invalid due to the absence of signatures or stamps from the Independent National Electoral Commission .
