Senator Samuel Anyanwu has resumed his duties as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party at the party's national secretariat in Abuja. He arrived the party secretariat about 10:56 a.m.The development comes despite the Court of Appeal's ruling that removed him from the position.
It affirmed that Ude-Okoye is the rightful holder of the position.However, Anyanwu insists that he will remain in office until the Supreme Court issues a final ruling. His stance is supported by some legal experts, who argue that his decision to resume office is in order, having filed a stay of execution and an appeal before the Supreme Court.
