Brazil left-back, Dani Alves, has promised that he and his teammates will give ‘everything’ when they face Spain in the men’s Tokyo Olympics football final at the International Stadium Yokohama, Japan.
Alves who is the captain of Brazil’s men Olympics football team, said the match against Spain would be special. Brazil head to the game after beating Mexico through a penalty shoot-out in the semi-final encounter a few days ago, while Spain won 1-0 against the host nation, Japan. Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Friday, the former Barcelona star told reporters, “I am representing my homeland, we have to be prepared,” he told reporters prior to the final.“The passion, the will, the determination to do great things in football is huge, that makes this game special.
“Not many of us here will have the chance to play another Olympics. This is a special moment and you need to be ready for special moments, show a lot of intensity because they don’t come round again.The kick-off time for Brazil vs Spain is 12:30 pm, Nigeria time.
