Two teenagers aged 15 and 17 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the shooting in Wolverhampton.
A 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in the head at point blank range with a shot gun.
Officers were called to Graiseley Street in the Pennfields area just before 8pm on Monday, where they found the teenager with a gunshot wound to his head. West Midlands Police close Graiseley Street, Pennfields, Wolverhampton and erect a police forensic tent
