BORNO State Government has disclosed that its job portal established for sourcing employment for its indigenes has received 70,000 applications.

The state Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation, Babagana Mustapha, said this on Sunday in Maiduguri during a press briefing.Mustapha said the job portal, created early this year, would register unemployed youths in the state on continuous basis.

The commissioner said, “The platform will be readily available at any time for our clients to access. We can as well provide information for our stakeholders, i.e. potential employers and other data users.” He explained that the State Governor, Babagana Zulum, constructed new vocational centres in Muna, Jere, while two others were currently under construction at different stages in Magumeri and Mafa Local Government areas.All rights reserved.
