The Police in Borno State have arrested the shooter of Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa of Nigeria Church members.
The name of the culprit is Baba Bukar, a member of a joint security team, a government official said. The source told DAILY POST that Bukar fired the bullets that hit church worshippers during a clash with Borno Geographical Information System officials last Thursday. “He has been in custody of Borno Police Command since the governor directed an investigation into the matter.”The Police will make an announcement soon. The authorities had promised the Christian community that the killer would be tracked.
Hours after the incident, Governor Babagana Zulum directed the police to investigate, arrest and prosecute anyone connected to the violence and shooting.
