The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Col Hameed Ali , has warned officers and men of the service and those of the Nigeria Immigration Service against compromise in the discharge of

their duties.

Ali, who was on tour of border posts in Cross River and Akwa Ibom states to assess the impact of the closure of international borders in the two states to curb smuggling, said, “It is time to commit yourselves to the service. Whenever you compromise you will pay for it. If you cut corners you will be dismissed, prosecuted and sent to jail.
