Boko Haram: Military destroys terrorists’ facilities, kills scores of fighters in airstrikes
The Defence Headquarters has said that the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole has launched airstrikes on terrorists’ locations at Bula Bello and Ngoske on the fringes of the Sambisa Forest in Borno.
Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, made this known in a statement on Sunday.According to him, the air interdiction missions were executed on June 18 and June 19. He said: “Accordingly, the Air Task Force dispatched a force package of Nigerian Air Force fighter jets as well as an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance aircraft to engage the 2 locations.
