Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State has denied reports that Boko Haram were currently forcefully converting Nigerians to Islam in the state. Recall

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has slammed the presidency for backing the Minister of Communication, Isa Pantami despite calls for his resignation over reported link with terrorist groups, such as the al-Qaeda but attack Rev. Fr. Mbaka for criticising President Mujammadu Buhari.

In another development, the presidency on Friday attacked the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka for calling on the president to resign over failure to address the worsening security situation in the country. Reacting, the IPOB leader said the President backed the Pantami but was inciting hatred against Mbaka.
