The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has recovered the bodies of four of its officers killed during an ambush by Boko Haram insurgents in Shiroro Local Government Area, Niger State.

The NSCDC team was conducting an inspection tour of the National Grid installations when they were ambushed near the boundary between Niger and Kaduna states.
