Bisi, the wife of the immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, is taking a much deserved rest after her husband left office some weeks ago on October 16, 2022.
In a recent post on her website, Fayemi stated that she would be dedicating time to relax. In the post titled, ‘Loud Whispers: I Lift Up Mine Eyes Unto The Hills’, she wrote November 3, 2022, “If you are reading this and wondering, so what is next for Erelu? You will find out. Just as there is a time for everything under the sun, this is a time for sleeping, reading, writing and Netflix for a while.
Passionate about women empowerment, Fayemi had spent many years working on women’s rights and development issues around the world. During her husband’s first tenure, she carried out different activities to impact positively on the lives of many women, including widows and victims of abuse, rape, and other Boko Haram insurgency.
