The filmmaker said after going for multiple auditions, she felt “depressed and really frustrated” because the outcomes were not positive. “I cannot remember the date, but I knew it was in October, I broke down, I could not watch TV, because I will go to auditions with someone, and I would look at them and wonder what is wrong with me, why am I not getting picked and I was questioning everything,” she said.“None of it was you cannot act, so it got really depressing, really frustrating and I thought maybe, this acting thing was not for me and I put it aside and went to work.

“I said to God, you gave me this talent, take it away, in accepting, I had to tell God, take this feeling away. Do not let me think about film.
