Maryam AbdullahiAisha Binani, candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Adamawa, says her victory in the governorship election would be for all Nigerian women and girls.

Before the declaration, Ahmadu Fintiri, the incumbent governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , had won 13 LGAs while Binani secured seven.Binani accused the governor and the PDP of using violence to manipulate the election, alleging that INEC ad-hoc staff were not present in some polling centres.
