The National Assembly is considering the establishment of Forward Military Bases in Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency due to the persistent security challenges in the area. This was contained in a motion presented at plenary of the House of Representatives by Hon Solomon Wombo, member Katsina -Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency.
Hon Wombo advocated for establishing a security unit to strengthen measures for safeguarding lives and properties in the jurisdiction. He sought cooperation from the Chief of Defence Staff to establish a 'Forward Operation Base,' aiming to intensify efforts in eradicating criminal elements within the constituency.
