The Benue State Government on Sunday said it had concluded arrangements for the enforcement of the usage of face masks to prevent spread of coronavirus.
The Secretary to the Benue State Action Committee on COVID-19 and Commissioner for Heath and Human Services, Dr Sunday Ongbabo, disclosed this in Makurdi.
Ongbabo explained that the spread of the disease had reached community level and said usage of face masks, social distancing and other COVID-19 protocols “must be observed.” Ongbabo said, “Every Benue citizen has to step up adherence to COVID-19 protocols and any one that doubts the existence of COVID-19 runs the risk of contracting the disease,” Ongbabo said.All rights reserved.
