Benue: Corrupt officials won’t escape prosecution – Ortom
He stated this on Tuesday at the Benue Peoples House, Makurdi, while swearing in the Chairman and Commissioners of Local Government Service Commission, as well as a member of the Benue State Independent Electoral Commission, BSIEC.
He cautioned public officers who indulge in sharp practices to turn a new leaf or face consequences of their actions. The Governor stated that the ongoing sanitisation at the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, should be replicated in the Unified Local Government Service to enhance performance.
