The All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman in Benue State, Benjamin Omale, has condemned alleged assassination attempt on the party’s State Legal Adviser, Terhemen Ngbea, in Abuja. He alleged it was a well calculated plot to assassinate or kidnap the legal officer of the party.
Omale made the assertions on Sunday, while speaking to journalists at the Benue APC Secretariat in Makurdi. He dismissed the speculation that the incident was a normal occurrence.
It was reported that suspected gunmen had trailed Ngbea to a parking lot in the Central Area of Abuja, where they attacked his vehicle and forcibly opened its door in what appeared to be a coordinated assault. He escaped with bruises but his vehicle was vandalized and several vital documents and personal belongings carted away.
