Bendel Insurance manager Monday Odigie has criticised the standard of officiating in the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs.A lone goal from Akanni Qudus was enough for Remo Stars to secure a 1-0 win over Bendel Insurance.
“The officiating so far has been questionable,” an angry Odigie told DAILY POST in a post-match chat. “Bendel Insurance has been singled out mostly for poor officiating. The referees need to improve more and avoid all this favouritism in officiating,” he said. Bendel Insurance will be hoping to pick up a continental ticket if they can triumph in the Federation Cup.
