Bayelsa Queens Football Club on Sunday emerged winners of the Women’s 2021 Aiteo Cup Competition by defeating FC Robo in the final
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Yenagoa-based Bayelsa Queens defeated the Lagos-based FC Robo 4 – 2 to lift the trophy.But it was Bayelsa Queens who drew the first blood in the 10th minute through Mary Anjor, with FC Robo drawing level when they scored six minutes later.
NAN reports that Anjor restored their lead when she scored in the 37th minute to increase her goals haul in this year’s Cup competition to eight.
