There was tension in Bayelsa State on Saturday following dynamite explosions at the residences of two Peoples Democratic Party chieftains in Yenagoa and Brass local government areas.
Both houses were reportedly attacked on Saturday evening by thugs, who launched the explosives and fled the areas. It was learnt that the two explosions were reported to the Commissioner of Police and the State Director of the Department of State Service in Yenagoa.Confirming the incident, Isaiah described it as unfortunate adding that the matter was promptly reported to the police and the DSS.
He said a few minutes after the call, the explosion went off and caused panic within the neighborhood.
