A former teacher, Mr. Waibodei Subiri, has clinched the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, governorship ticket ahead of Nov 11 gubernatorial election
Subiri, polled 92 votes to defeat his only opponent Tati Sesei Efebo, who got 70 votes, in the delegate election that was conducted in Yenagoa, the capital city on Sunday.
He also thanked the two contestants for the show of sportsmanship, noting that it will further unite the party towards achieving their goals. “The Chairman of the party in the state has done a very wonderful work, I have witnessed several conventions and primaries no one is this organized.”
