Bauchi State Civil Service Commission,BSCSC, has suspended six officers for alleged serious misconduct.
The six suspended officers, all from the Ministry of Works and Transport and attached to the Bauchi State Infrastructures Development and Maintenance Agency , were accused of selling or converting government properties worth millions of naira. The properties were removed from ongoing flyover construction projects at Wunti and Central Market within Bauchi metropolis.
According to the statement, the alleged acts contravened Section 0327 of the Bauchi State Public Service Regulations, leading to the suspension of the officials under Section 0331 of the same regulations.
