Nigerians have been reminded of the need for value orientation change and morality in their way of life.
Dr Soye Peniel Asawo, National President of the Men’s Missionary Union of the Nigerian Baptist Convention canvassed this view at the weekend after the close of the 44th annual congress of the Men Missionary of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.
Many Nigerians go to bed hungry because of the badly managed economy. 'Leaders at all levels should make sacrifices. It is pointless to ask the masses to make sacrifices whereas the leaders are swimming in affluence. The level of waste in the country is the worst in the world' he said. Asawo bemoaned the spate of insecurity in the country, calling on the president to give marching orders to the heads of various security agencies to restore peace, law and order.
